#BRAugust2020 Day 31: By Next #BRAugust

I only made it to day 22 this year but was still productive.
⠀⠀⠀
I completed my basic bra pattern using the #porcelynne method in Bare Essentials, created my sloper, and drafted a two piece vertical seam cup bra.

I have four other cup designs I would like to work on plus draft a panty pattern.

First attempt. I should have did a test cup with the lace first before make a full bra. The cup do not fit as well as it did with just the sheer cup lining. The neck line edge is cutting into my breast and there are wrinkles in the cup. Lesson learn, make a test cup with the lace first.

Good news is I think I know what I have to change and the lace looks so pretty.

I don’t add notches to my patterns so I have to be careful when lining up my pieces. I did a good job with first cup. Not so much with the other. This embroidery lace is now available in my shop. Link in the bio.
